What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I have a love for teaching and helping others understand information. During my high schooling career, I felt a strong ability to make sense of many of my subjects which allowed me to enjoy teaching it so much to others! The concepts behind maths, in particular, all made sense which led me to love tutoring/teaching it to others. I love to be able to help others understand small things they might've struggled with and really help them enjoy the subject they are learning rather than just rote learning it.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think being able to get a student to grasp an idea is one of my main strengths. The HSC has taught many to look at certain concepts through a narrow path but I feel as if one of my strengths is being able to broaden a subject and really demonstrate the connections throughout the subject allowing the student to make more sense of what they are learning.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to help them grasp/love a subject. I believe that without a genuine passion for a subject, a student can really struggle to proceed through it especially throughout the whole year. I think that if a tutor is able to help a student grasp/understand/love a subject, it can help them remove the negative connotations on HSC and help the student have a good overall HSC year!
