What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy getting alongside students and helping them to view problems from a different angle. I found it particularly rewarding when students retained an understanding of concepts that they found particularly challenging when confronted with similar problems in later weeks.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My main strength as a tutor is patience with struggling or distracted students. I am able to explain the same concept in several different ways or present it in such a way that engages them.

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to help them figure out how to learn in many different ways, thus setting them up for a lifetime of learning. It is also important for a tutor to encourage their student to improve and to celebrate these improvements.
