What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I most enjoy being able to share my love and passion for education and learning with younger students helping them ease the pressure of high school. Being able to teach younger kids about subjects I am passionate about is a lot of fun as I get to surround myself in the topic and help them understand subjects that they may not understand very well.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my strengths as a tutor are being able to work through questions calmly and effectively with the students whilst making sure that they really understand the topic before we move on. I aim to make the students feel very comfortable in clearly stating how confident they are at the present and not moving on because they feel that we have spent enough time on one topic and instead making sure that they have a sufficient knowledge of everything in the course. I also think my strengths as a tutor include being easy to speak with and being outgoing to make all tutor sessions flow easily.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I consider that the most important things a tutor can do for a student are to make them feel confident going to class every day and not feel that they are behind their class as well as look forward to an exam to share all of their knowledge with the markers rather than dread an exam, also reducing their stress and encouraging them to enjoy school. I would look forward to seeing which questions were in the exams I was sitting because I wanted to show the teachers what I knew, and I would like to let other students feel this same excitement.
