What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
To be able to make the student understand key concepts and acquire certain mathematical and analytical skills is something I really enjoy doing. Also, the positive engagement the tutoring produces between the tutor and the learner is absolutely good to nourish. Finally, it is very rewarding for me as a tutor to see the student learn from you and succeed in their studies knowing that you are a part of their success.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, I am great at motivating the student to push on, building his/her confidence along the way of gaining the knowledge and skills he/she needs. Also, I always try to approach the problem the simplest possible way I could and explain the concepts and processes the problem involves clearly and methodically. Above all, part of my strengths as a tutor are my strength and perseverance to help the student learn and overcome the difficulties of the subject.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I consider empathy and genuine regard for the student and his/her learning experience as most important. While it is true that we could be highly skilled in the subject matter or content area, without genuine regard for the students teaching them might simply be mechanical and without connection. As a tutor, I think it is important to feel the need of the student, be connected to this need, and be genuinely passionate about responding to this need. In doing so, you not only facilitate learning to the student but also build his/her character.
