What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I get more than I give. Volunteer tutoring is rewarding. I love tutoring because I am given the opportunity to help children achieve their best, inspire them on a personal and academic level AND building lasting relationships based on shared goals.It excites me to see how energetic a learner becomes as soon as they understand a topic they struggled with.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I can speak 3 languages: english, cantonese and mandarin fluently. iI did volunteer tutoring in a primary school before, I can Work closely with the student and build a strong, personal relationship. Encourage progress As a student, I always get involved extensively in the school community and activities, this helps to develop my strong interpersonal skills. My effective communication skills have been honed through interactions and presentations to a wide range of audiences at school when promoting club activities and being a MC in school events.

I see tutoring not just as a way to fill in the holes that are left at the end of the school day, but as infinitely fulfilling, important work that bridges worlds and builds a stronger future for children, one at a time.
