What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I personally think that I can be a little too self-conscious, and although I'm aware that this may be detrimental for a tutor; I feel an inherent obligation to perform well amidst multiple responsibilities as a result. As such, the tutees and I can simultaneously benefit and grow as both students and people.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Despite being somewhat of a novice tutor, I think that I myself am a fast learner, allowing me to improve the quality of future classes. I've also worked with both students of my age group and students in the lower years which has given me vital experience in terms of my method of approach to tutoring each age group.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
From personal experience, I found myself second-guessing a lot of answers and solutions which not only was time-consuming and inefficient, but it also affected my thought process for future questions. Thus, I think creating an environment where the student is confident in making their own decisions and following their own train of thought is the most important thing a tutor should strive towards for a student.
