What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The ability to work with small groups/1on1 that allows for more personalised teaching to suit the abilities of the individuals. Planning and presenting the lessons with individuals in mind gives me a better ability to differentiate and scaffold the work in a way that can produce better results.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a great communicator who can organise and present planned lessons effectively and clearly to a range of students. I have had particular success with lower ability students including SEN students as I can differentiate both the way I have planned lessons and the way I deliver them

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Allow the student to overcome challenges on their own. I have never felt as a teacher and tutor that I should give the students answers if they are not able to work through it themselves, I should be able to give them the tools to succeed with small and regular input from myself.
