What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I thoroughly enjoy the moment when a student overcomes a barrier or finally understands a problem they've been struggling with. I take great satisfaction from their relief, and pride in seeing them rise to the challenge.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I understand what it is like to be frustrated by a subject and not understand all of it's rules. My experience of getting past these barriers with the help of my teachers is something I feel I can pass onto my students. I specialize in essay writing but am also experienced with assisting in oral presentations and literary analysis.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important things a tutor can do for a student are to be patient, and to help the student learn to learn. It is an easier job to tell a student the correct answers than to help them understand how to get there. Taking the time to ensure a student truly understands each lesson and correction can inadvertently be the fastest way to real growth. As the student learns, it is important to be patient with them. Frustration can often hinder learning and so showing patience can help the student on the path to overcoming certain barriers.
