As Math was one of my favourite subjects throughout schooling, I believe my love of the subject has helped me pick up techniques and skills that will help further a student's interest in the subject and in turn, motivate them to study it better.Most important things I can do for a student ๐
I believe an important role a tutor has is not only easing a student's fears about a subject (in particular Mathematics), but encouraging them when the student feels disheartened over task loads or low grades. I also believe tutors must help students develop healthy self-study habits that encourage them to try solving problems themselves before relying on their tutors.
