What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love it when my students actually understand the things that I teach and do well in the exams. I love the fact that when I tutor the students, I am not just dealing with their academics but also mentoring them and helping them grow.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my strengths lie in helping the students understand the concepts using analogies and mneumonics! This is really important in biology where students have to remember lots of information. But my teaching approaches are flexible depending on the subject and the students' needs. With maths, I consider solving a problem as a key step towards getting the student's head around a concept rather than just focusing on coming down with an answer to that particular problem.

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to treat all students as individuals and know their strengths and weaknesses. This is important in tailoring the teaching strategies to the student's needs. Also, the role of a tutor does not just lie in teaching the basic knowledge and concepts, but also involves guiding and mentoring them with their student life, and also motivating them to excel in their studies.
