What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is being able to see the student develop and grow under my teaching. Being able to instill confidence in the student over time and the student potentially start enjoying learning the subject they initially dreaded is what gives me the most satisfaction.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my strengths as a tutor is being able to assess where the student is at in terms of their knowledge of the subject. Through that, I am able to teach accordingly from where they are at and personalize the teaching so they are able to learn most effectively.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
One of the most important attributes for being a good tutor is to be patient. Every student learns at their own pace as it is dependent on their background knowledge as well as their individual approach to learning. This also means being a good listener. Although the tutor is the one guiding and the learning process, it is important to pick up clues from the student to understand how they are feeling.
