What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

A mentor of mine once said, “Through teaching, not only you help others learn but also help yourself master what you teach.â€Â That resonated with me and made a lot of sense. From there on, I was on a tutoring spree (formal/informal) and it comes natural to me. Handling different kinds of people from different walks of life and ages ain’t new to me and I find it satisfying being able to teach them a thing or two.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I’m stern yet easy going; I can connect easily with students, build rapport whilst teaching productively and effectively. Also, I study what I teach hence making my skill set a perfect match with the position.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Teaching minds, touching hearts, transforming lives. Aside from the mastery of the subject being taught, developing a genuine bond between tutor and student, helping them apply or understand the gravity or importance of their study and why they should not take it for granted. In other words, helping them not only in the four corners of the classroom but also impart lessons that they can use in their day to day lives.
