What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the smile that greets me when I arrive to tutor. I also enjoy when the student gets the 'aha' factor. I enjoy teaching the tools of language: grammar. I love to teach poetry and process writing. I love to be creative in my teaching and having fun is a great way to learn.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I incorporate Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking into all of my lessons. I am able to teach English as a Second Language as well as teaching through Phonics. I am a patient person and that come across in my tutoring.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

To be reliable, punctual and consistent. To be honest and upfront when answering questions and if I don't have an answer on the spot I'll do some research and get back to the student the next lesson with an answer. To establish a good rapport with the student and parents.
