What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy building rapport with the students and supporting them in various ways. It is extremely heartwarming to see them working hard and eventually reaping the rewards of their labor.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am confident of my skills in the subjects and I am able to communicate it clearly to the students. I am also patient and able to find alternative ways of explanation to facilitate understanding.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Besides grades, I would say that a tutor is also essentially teaching the student life skills such as responsibility and perseverance. I had this unmotivated student. He wouldn't complete the homework that I had given him and often fell asleep in class. I started to find out the reason behind his behavior and I used it to my advantage, Over time, the knowledge and the ability to understand the subject became his greatest motivating factor to start paying attention in class. I realized that he appeared unmotivated and disengaged due to the lack of understanding but caught up quickly after!
