What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy helping students navigate high school such that they maximise their results whilst enjoying it as much as possible. I personally had difficulty with balancing leisure with study so I enjoy being able to help students manage their time effectively. More than anything, I enjoy explaining difficult concepts to students in a way that they comprehend, as I share the satisfaction a student derives from understanding.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Being a very patient person, I do not get flustered when someone does not understand an explanation, rather I find a different way to explain it, until they do understand it. Additionally, I have a thorough understanding of the course content, particularly for the HSC courses, which means that I have many different methods to explain concepts. Having achieved highly in the HSC, I know many of the tricks to maximising results, which I can teach to students.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor should be able to provide good advice for a student with respect to the individual needs of the student. By being flexible, open and available to help students as much as possible, tutors have the capacity to develop a deep and meaningful connection with them and students will be able to trust and learn more from the tutor. As high school can potentially be an isolating and difficult time in people's lives, having a tutor to mentor them and talk to can really improve the wellbeing of the student, which often results in better academic results.

Needs to not get flustered when faced with similar types of questions with larger numbers or more terms present and revert back to the way to solve the simple questions.
