What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The ability to provide the opportunity for a student to develop their skills and become confident with what they have been taught. This is usually demonstrated by an increase in marks from the students commitment to learn.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Patience and preparation. I believe I have the strength to patiently explain the content and provide examples to further enhance the students understanding. I will also have prepared questions they can do outside of tutorial hours to continue and solidify the recently taught content. I am currently studying Engineering at UNSW, and will provide learning strategies in which have helped me to be where I am.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a a tutor can do for a student is to be understanding. The process for the student to absorb the content may take time, hence it is paramount for a tutor to be patient and articulately explain the concepts in detail. To also slowly develop their knowledge with relatively simple questions and to progressively develop after observing improvements with their ability to provide a solution to the problem.
