What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love sharing my knowledge as well as tips and tricks with students. Especially with younger children who struggle to enjoy maths, I want to show them my perspective on how the subject is more than numbers and relate problems to real-life situations which they can understand better. For high school students, I want to share the shortcuts which make maths less dreading and more practical to comprehend.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a tutor, my strengths include being highly patient and understanding as I understand it takes time to process and learn new information. I am also very approachable and friendly which can make lessons more engaging in a comfortable atmosphere. With younger students, I have on various occasions worked with children and understand the needs and ways to engage them to make learning easier.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to be open-minded and flexible to not only accommodate the different learning styles of students but also open to taking questions which are not addressed in worksheets.
