What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I like seeing students grow, gain confidence and achieve their goals. Being able to answer their questions, inspire and motivate them is very rewarding. I love seeing them progress from not being able to understand a difficult concept to understanding and learning to apply the ideas to new questions or contexts.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
Good at building rapport with students, patience, good listener, good problem solving skills, good communication, universal positive regard (I won't give up on you!), empathetic, extensive tertiary level tutoring experience. I am a pre-service teacher currently studying a Master of Teaching (Secondary). I also have a Graduate Certificate in Teaching.Most important things I can do for a student π
I believe tutors should always believe in their student and never give up. They will aim to instil a positive growth mindset in their students. They will be persistent in their effort to help the student achieve their goals. Good tutors are also student focused, aiming to help the student develop their current skills and scaffold them to learn harder material. I offer in-person and online tutoring.
