What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Explaining difficult concepts so that they create links in a students' head, and the difficult concept then becomes simpler. Reaching the "light bulb on" moment is also an enjoyable part of tutoring.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I relate well to all levels, and I can explain at all levels, given my experience in work industries, as well as in Universities. I also aim for understanding and encourage students to ask questions as much as they want.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Aim to gain understanding so that what the student is learning now, will stay with them throughout their life, no matter where they might find themselves and in whichever work position they find themselves in the future.

Raiya is working on her multiplication times tables, which is great! Each week I'll be aiming to go over a few of the standard question types - multiplication, long addition and subtraction and division, to keep it fresh in her mind.

Raiya worked really well with the whiteboard, as she could clearly see and change if incorrect without having to erase on her page, what landed where in the place value.

John has improved a lot since I started tutoring him, we just need to work on making sure all his working out is clear to the teacher, and that it is as simplified as it can be if the question asks for simplification.
