What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing students gain confidence and curiosity as they begin to understand new concepts. I love being part of that learning journey — helping them overcome challenges and discover their potential. It’s rewarding to know I’ve made a difference by creating a positive, supportive space where every student feels capable and motivated to succeed.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My key strengths as a tutor are patience, empathy, and clarity. I’m skilled at explaining complex ideas in simple, structured ways and helping students build confidence step by step. As a UWA tutor, mother of two, and pharmacy assistant, I’ve developed strong communication, organisation, and time-management skills. I’m approachable and supportive, always encouraging students to think critically, stay motivated, and take ownership of their learning journey.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important things a tutor can do are to build confidence, create clarity, and inspire motivation. A good tutor doesn’t just explain answers — they guide students to think critically and develop problem-solving skills. By being patient, encouraging, and consistent, tutors help students feel supported and capable. I also believe in adapting my teaching style to each learner’s needs so they can reach their full potential at their own pace.
