What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
I love that throughout my students' learning journeys, not only will I fulfil a coaching role, using their chosen subject(s) as a template for self-discovery, growth and inquisitiveness, I also become their mentor and friend in life.
I find great joy and fulfilment in being there for students during their most impressionable years, to help them own the boldness of the light they have within and ascertain a bright future of learnings ahead.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
I am an inquisitive and intuitive tutor, and I adopt a holistic and inductive approach to coach the best qualities out of my students. My focus is to develop a can-do attitude to help them derive confidence in their abilities to understand and break down concepts, and enjoyably apply it to their learnings. My feedback is comprehensive and tailored to the individual, and I am strong at implementing positive reinforcement to facilitate them in their learning journeys. Oftentimes, a great relationship is developed with their family, to create a collaborative learning environment at home.
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
I find it important for students to know and feel that their individual needs are heard, understood and attended to. It would be most important to follow through all plans, tailored to their needs, with actions that allow the students to realise their progress.
By also validating their strengths and identifying their self-limiting beliefs, I would be able to assist students in developing self-awareness, identification of self, and self-interests. Their developed confidence and faith in themselves will forward them as a motivated lifelong learner.
