What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I personally have not had any tutoring experience. However as a swimming instructor, I feel very satisfied when one of my students excels.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am very approaching and patient. I always try to work at a students rate to get them to their full potential.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A good tutor is a patient tutor. I feel as if that is what a student needs to understand what they need to learn. Explaining things slowly and simplifying difficult concepts for students goes a long way into making them excel. I will be doing that for my students if I were to be hired.

About Bobby

A Little About Me

Hi there! My name is Bobby and I am an engineering student from Monash University. I’ve always had a love for mathematics and solving problems. I’m an approachable and patient person who loves helping students gain confidence with the subject matter.

My Teaching Experience

Through my work as a swimming instructor for several years, I have gained experience in teaching children, from which I have learned that being patient and communicating clearly is very necessary. I know that there is a different way in which students can learn, so I make sure that I am able to communicate in simple terms to everyone.

My Approach to Tutoring

My Goal is to create an environment where the students can comfortably ask questions and make mistakes. I find it good to take complex math topics and break them down into smaller bits where the reason for the process is clear. It is my hope that the students will become good at math and more confident in their learning.
