My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I get very involved in my work, and I've had trouble accepting that some children won't like it when I try to help. However through my nanny and tutoring experience and through my natural patience, I've learned different ways to make things more enjoyable - seeing the value of what they're doing, feeling that they're achieving something through continual feedback, doing it in the company of others, and letting them make choices within limits. Everyone is very different, but that has helped me to come up with strategies to help different personality types see meaning in their activities/work.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important things a tutor can do is not only teach the content, but foster curiosity and a willingness to learn through continual informative feedback, and providing problems at the right skill level, so that they don't become overwhelmed. I also believe that it is important to take into consideration the different ways in which students learn, and provide the appropriate supportive environment for learning.
