What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I really enjoy having a lasting positive impact on people, equipping them with personal skills and self-understanding that they can hopefully implement in other facets of their study, career and life. I understand that it not only brings great satisfaction to me to see my students doing well but also to them when they are able to achieve things they previously were unable to.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I personally went through high-school without a tutor, and that required me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the ideal study approach and techniques for my personal success. Understanding where I was lacking and what beneficial habits I had in place, left me with a realisation of the complexities of each individual's most beneficial approach to study, and how identifying that early on can propel them forward.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Tutoring is mainly about facilitating the students understanding of concepts, but the tutor should also aim to foster a drive in the student to understand why they are struggling with the respective topic and a will to seek a solution on their own. The tutor should eventually seek to equip students with self-awareness and a drive for self-betterment, and can thus develop students who feel comfortable to learn independently.
