Miranda is consistently improving in her ability to answer a range of questions. This lesson we focused on a range of networks questions, and I was impressed by the speed and accuracy with which Miranda could correctly answer a range of them. This is extremely promising heading into the HSC.

With regards to similar triangles, Miranda could slightly improve. After reviewing some questions she completed for homework there were some minor errors that resulted in an incorrect answer. We will cover a few of these questions next lesson to ensure that they are improved upon.

While general revision was completed, majority of the questions pertained to financial maths. Miranda has improved in her ability to answer a variety of complex financial maths questions, particularly those involving purchasing of stocks and recurrence relationships. Miranda's work with trigonometry was also impressive.

With the HSC around the corner, all there is to improve upon is exam technique through completing a range of questions in preparation for the exam.

Stefan has a thorough understanding of ratios and rates and can effectively simplify them. Throughout the lesson he improved on his ability to simplify ratios involving decimals and fractions, enabling him to answer a range of questions.

Dividing ratios in parts is an area where Stefan could slightly improve upon. While the questions given were answered correctly, this often required some guidance or hints.

Stefan was able to effectively use the speed-distance-time triangle to solve a variety of questions involving rates. This was extremely promising for his upcoming exam and I was impressed by his ability to quickly identify what information he had been given and how to manipulate the triangle to ensure that the correct answer was calculated.

In relation to general rates, Stefan could slightly improve on the time he spends on certain questions to ensure that he does not run out of time under exam conditions
