What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I think there are two points I like most during tutoring. Firstly, I feel extremely proud as my students make an improvement under my help. Their grades will supply me a great sense of achievement. Secondly, I would consider tutoring as a wonderful chance for self-reflection. By changing the perspective from a student to a tutor, I could understand my knowledge on a more objective lens, which motives me to explore further on the subject and improve my learning and teaching approaches.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my major strength is that I am extremely familiar with syllabus as I just graduated. In addition, I am an IB students that I could tutor in relevant IB subjects. Lastly, I have plenty time to spend on tutoring in order to provide high-quality class to my students.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Firstly, I believe the philosophy of "Teaching to fish rather than giving a fish. " It suggests that the tutor has a responsibility to inspire her students to take further exploration in the subject and cultivate good learning habits. Secondly, I think encouragement is essential in tutoring. Being as a tutor, I would let my student know that they are putting considerable effort in study which would eventually lead to a better self. Lastly, I think tutor is more like a problem solver. I would like to push myself to help my students overcome their difficulties in an effective way.
