What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
With advanced content knowledge in a variety of subjects, tutoring provides the opportunity to directly pass on this knowledge to other students to allow them to increase their own knowledge. However, tutoring also provides the opportunity to be able to assist in developing a student's self confidence and love of learning which both leads to maximal success.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My main strengths are my passion for helping others as well as passion for making the school environment including the learning journey, a positive one. My strengths is therefore this innate passion allowing me to assist students overcome their own challenges whether this be self doubt or academic concerns, in order to maximise their progress and sense of success. Furthermore, my nurturing personality is a strength as others feel at ease around me and this can lead to optimal engagement and confidence for students during a tutoring session.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to provide an individualised approach as this leads to an optimal learning environment and thus maximises the student's chance at success. Without an individualised approach, communication issues can arise which can lead to a lack of content understanding and sense of failure from the student, which can hinder success. Through continually adapting to suit the student and meet their preferred learning style this can build their self confidence, engagement and academic success as well.
