What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I like watching the bulb switch on, when the student is able to connect dots in their head. In my experience, that feeling of achievement is essential in providing longevity of skills. My favorite teachers never led the horse to the water, they always made us do a part or all of the thinking, not just by asking questions, but by having a conversation with the class, understanding the questions we had, and answering with utmost respect. This is how I learnt best and it's what I find most rewarding.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I pride myself on being patient. I was a slow learner, and often had questions which were ignored or brushed off. This is why I place importance in respecting every question by ensuring I completely understand it, answer with utmost sincerity, and patiently clarify doubts.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe ultimately, the most important thing a tutor can do is to create an environment where when asked "Do you understand?", the student feels free to say "Nope". This honesty is priceless and very helpful in identifying knowledge-gaps early.
