What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I would love to tutor other students and help them achieve their best from my experience and knowledge. I really enjoy doing maths and solving problems. When tutoring I will enjoy solving any problems the student has and discuss different techniques on how to solve it.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor include effective communication, useful learning techniques and experience. Communication is essential during a tutoring session as the student should clearly state their problem and for that, I will have a friendly approach to build rapport. My other strength is teaching simple techniques that I have learnt in my school years to help them improve their knowledge. As I have taken tutoring lessons myself during my HSC, I understand what is expected from a tutor and will hopefully be able to deliver the same to students.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to be able to teach them concepts which they will remember for life instead of memorising them for a short period of time. I will aim to teach methods that the student will be able to apply in different questions. A tutor should also review questions with the student and allow them to attempt it by themselves to track their progress.
