What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I've always found joy out of helping and teaching others. Being a mentor figure to a younger student is very rewarding in the fact that I get to be there for them as they advance in their learning. Every small milestone, such as finally grasping a certain concept, is compounded by larger growth over months and years. If I am able to boost someone's confidence and skill, even slightly, in a subject that they struggle with, then I can safely say that I am proud of them and the growth they've achieved.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have the patience to work with others. I find that I understand people very well, particularly in how they communicate, how they feel, and what they need help with. Once I am paired with a student, then you'll find that I am fully committed to making their learning experience a worthwhile and enjoyable one.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
One of the most important things a tutor can do is to understand what their student's goal is and the best way in which they can guide them towards it. I believe that, as a tutor, an important part of my job is to get to know the student and understand their learning style. It is then my priority to work with the student on developing learning techniques that best suit them. This is also why I believe that it is important for me to continually adapt to each and every student's needs.
