What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I like my students to succeed in their studies and find math or ESL is not too challenging. Hence I like to see them develop a persevering attitude. I think the most important thing in my tutoring method is to help students apply their new knowledge into a skill in which they can carry through and recall even in university.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my strength is to teach students a digestible amount of theory and emphasize applying the theory to questions. I will make students practice with easier questions and explicitly explain important steps markers are looking for. Hence timing is important as new information is immediately put into practice which helps retain them.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing is to seek to understand students, their way of thinking, and approach to concepts and question. Working in their zone of proximal development, always have a high expectation and a routine. I also believe a tutor should have disciplinary action to the student when they do not practice the given homework such as to communicate with parents.
