What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy connecting with students and allowing them to build confidence in themselves, and their ability to achieve their best academically. It's incredibly uplifting to see how your assistance allows students to grow and begin to enjoy the subject you're assisting them with.
I have always been an academic person, so I've thrived in the academic environment for subjects that I was passionate about. I also know how incredibly frustrating and disheartening it is to struggle with a subject. As such, I love helping others overcome that barrier, and show them that they can be more than they thought.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I'm flexible in the ways I communicate with my students, adjusting my teaching to what suits them as a learner and making sure that they feel heard when it comes to their education. I try and make learning fun, to make the whole tutoring process not feel like a chore in addition to the school-based learning they already have to do. I focus on making the process feel rewarding, rather than senseless and unnecessary.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Helping students become the best they can possibly be, allowing them to build confidence, and become independent learners. All in all, tutors should be the extra boost a student needs to achieve exactly what they want to. Through their services, a tutor should be able to provide the student with the basic skills needed to allow them to go on their own and feel good about themselves while doing it.
