What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring gives me the most joy as I enjoy the feeling of being able to teach my students a certain concept or help them with a specific question and they have the moment where they finally understand the difficult concept. I also enjoy trying to make tutoring more interesting and fun by helping them understand concepts rather than forcing them to memorise monotonous questions and concepts.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

One of my strengths as a tutor are that I ensure that I don't directly give my students the answer but I try and make sure that I am able to guide them through the questions/concept so that they are able to think critically rather than following a specific procedure. Through this, they are able to think for themselves during exams more effectively and efficiently. Another one of my strengths is that I ensure the educational environment is also one that is comfortable for the student and myself so that the students are a bit tense and thus we are able to focus on the work at hand.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

One of the most important things would be the environment the tutor and student are in. The more comfortable but slightly stressed-out the students are, the more productive the tutoring session would be. Another essential aspect of tutoring would be the ability for the tutor to deeply understand the concept themselves in order for them to simplify the concept for the student to understand and answer any queries the students have. Another important thing a tutor can do is be able to encourage the student if they are feeling down or stressed so that they are able to continue studying well.
