What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Tutoring is an extremely rewarding job. I can use my own knowledge to help students to perform their best and inspire them on a personal and academic level. Moreover, in one on one situation, I can focus my attention on one willing student and building his/her confidence. Last but not least, I can potentially make a positive difference in the studentβs academic journey and pointing the student in the right direction.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
1. Patience: I always have patience around people and willing to help and listen to them.
2. Communication skills: Having good communication skills is crucial for tutoring as this will allow you to communicate efficiently with your student. Whilst volunteering at Burnside Toy Library, I have developed good communication and people skills with children and teenagers.
3. Good time management and organisation skills will be the key to tutoring
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important things a tutor can do are being honest and help the student with the best you can. Nevertheless, a good listener and have patience.
