What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students unlock their full potential, in both academics and their mindset, knowing that I played a part in their success. By making a difference in their lives and success, I feel satisfied that I have contributed to something larger than myself and that fulfilment is meaningful to my core values.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

One of my strengths as a tutor is that I can quickly pickup with specificity where a student is missing an opportunity to maximise their use of English literary techniques and help them to rewrite pieces to better display their understanding of the English language and key syllabus dot points. Another one of my strengths as a tutor and mentor is in building rapport with students and identifying with their experiences and struggles, and leveraging that rapport to inspire, encourage and instil a growth mindset.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important things a tutor can do for a student is to be encouraging and to inspire them to work hard and achieve success to a high degree. Tutors should also be able to impart their knowledge and personal schooling experience in order to share meaningful insight to students, so that they may benefit from the experiences of the tutor. Finally, the tutor should be able to build confidence in the student so that they can be independent, strive for success and set themselves apart.
