What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is that it allows me to meet new people and build connections, which I saw in my experience as a tutor, where I built various meaningful connections.
Tutoring and teaching, in general, also is honourable and a respectable position. which instals pride in me whilst teaching whether that be at work or while helping students out at school or even helping siblings with work.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
- Experience from being a voluntary peer tutor at school, where I would host weekly sessions at break times to assist students of all years with any help they require with their maths work, this two-year program, as well as my experience in extension one maths in high school where I achieved a band 6 allowed me to enhance my knowledge in maths as well as improve upon my teaching skills. Additionally, this program helped me look at problems from a student's perspective thus allowing me to adopt a more understanding and patient teaching method.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to provide specific help to the student that caters to their needs, tutors I encountered in the past would provide the same work to each student regardless of skill level or questions. This is a simple thing, but providing catered specific tutoring help and work is fundamental to tutoring students and achieving success
