What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy thinking of creative ways to express ideas to help people understand things. I see the barrier between someone understanding a concept as a challenge I would like to solve.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor would be, being flexible to different learning styles. I have found what the best way for me to learn has been by thinking outside the box, I am very confident in finding creative methods to learn new things. Secondly, I am patient, I understand learning new concepts can be difficult for people. Finally, I can motivate people to not give up, this could be done through positive reinforcement and encouragement.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

From my experience with tutors, I consider the most important things a tutor can do for a student are. Recognising someone's improvements, recalling how a student has overcome a challenge in the past can be a great motivator for the present as well as build self-confidence. Being a role model, students will be influenced by a tutor's method of teaching. Patients and positivity, working with the student's pace and remaining positive. Finally, listening skills and communication, listening to the student can help the tutor understand how to tailor to that student's way of learning better.
