What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I thoroughly enjoy interacting with a number of different people, and seeing how grateful individuals can be when someone takes the time out of their day to help them understand the content in a way that makes sense to them. It is always rewarding to see an individual who may have been struggling and feeling lost develop confidence in their own abilities and move forward successfully.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of learning new ways to teach a subject or task that work for the specific individual and their learning type, rather than just trying to get them to understand only one method of doing something.
I am an approachable and friendly individual, and I like to think that if anyone has any specific questions or issues, regardless of the topic, they would feel comfortable coming to me.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I personally believe that for a tutor to be effective, they have to be willing to listen to, and learn from, the individual that they are working with. There is always more than one way to teach a specific skill, and, as a result of this, it is important to work together to find the most effective methods. I think that it is important to foster an interest in learning and questioning also, rather than simply learning what is required.
