She understood how to further improve her long response questions. She also clarified the definition of ethnics and how they are discussed in regards to scientific research.

She needs to focus on paraphrasing effectively and summarising information from data sources in her own words. She struggles with these tasks and it is reflected in her assessment results.

She understood how to answer multiple choice questions and the theory behind it. She also learnt how to break down the questions to it’s easier to understand.

She needs to focus on reviewing older content, as she struggles to recall vital definitions whilst answering past HSC questions. She also needs to work on reducing the time spent on completing the questions.

Abby was able to paraphrase after learning how to highlight key words. She was also able to understand how to write notes a little better.

Abby was able to recall meiosis and further clarify her understanding of crossing over, independent assortment and random segregation. Also, realising how to use this information in exam questions.

Abby needs to improve on remembering the content she has learnt and focusing on applying it in practice questions. More specifically, she struggles to apply the knowledge in questions and making connections between the key words in the question to the syllabus. This affects her ability to structurise her responses.
