My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my strength as a tutor would be that I can relate to my students. Because I have recently graduated from high school, I understand the Queensland school system and the learning processes that the students go through. I can teach them learning strategies that I have used to succeed. I think my weakness would be that, should my student have a keen interest in maths beyond the high school level, I would need time to research before answering his or her questions.

I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to boost their self-confidence. Learning, like everything else, is dependent on one's perception of one's abilities. Students who are confident in their abilities are more likely to be motivated than students who think they will never succeed.
