What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I find tutoring to be a very fulfilling job. The two aspects that appeal to me the most is the teaching process and the growth phase. For me, the teaching process is very fun and I enjoy interacting with students and helping them understanding complex concepts by explaining them clearly and concisely. The growth phase is the most rewarding part, wherein I can observe the growth of my students in that subject area and I can be proud of them for reaching their set goals. Overall, tutoring is quite enjoyable for me and I would like to continue pursuing it through Ezymath.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have been told that I am a very organized person and I believe that my orderliness has transferred into my tutoring method. I always spend at least an hour preparing for each session so that I can accumulate relevant resources and also structure the limited time I have with my students in as productive a way as possible. Furthermore, I am able to explain concepts in a simple and concise manner so that students are less overwhelmed by tackling the topic. Thus, I believe my strengths are my structured attitude towards tutoring as well as my simple explanations approach for complex topics.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Generally, students that seek the help of a tutor are struggling with the approach of their teacher to explaining a certain subject. This creates a cycle of feeling overwhelmed and avoiding the subject. I think that the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is help them out of a never ending and unproductive cycle and introduce them to a structured yet simple and fun way of learning a challenging concept. The skill of structuring and simplifying a topic can transfer into other subjects or even other areas of their life as these skills will aid them maneuver over similar obstacles
