What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

For me the most rewarding part of being a tutor is witnessing the joy on my student's face after helping them grasp a difficult concept or solve a challenging problem by guiding them to think for themselves, and they realise that the problem was not beyond their abilities after all and there is a visible growth of their self-confidence.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am able to simplify challenging concepts in a relatable and non-intimidating manner. Because I encourage my students to tackle difficult problems for themselves before explaining the solutions, I am able to build their confidence in their own abilities.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important responsibility of a mathematics tutor or teacher in general is to help build the student's skills and confidence in their ability to tackle new, challenging problems by nudging them to think critically and helping them understand the value of practice and hard-work.
