What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

In previous experience, I have found great enjoyment in seeing the moments where a concept clicks for a student, the moments when they realise the scale of their progress, and when I see a notable change in self belief and confidence as a result of increase in skills and knowledge.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As I was, so recently, a student of English and maths, I have an understanding of the pressures and stress that may come with being a school student. Alongside this, I have access to, and will implement, a vast range of resources developed by skilled professionals (from whom I have sought permission to utilise their resources). I also have an understanding of the relevant and current curricula being taught at schools, and thus can cater my tutoring to suit. In addition to this, I believe that many people find me approachable, and I am incredibly dedicated to the progress of students.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that the tutor’s greatest imperative is to ensure that a student has the best opportunity to further their skills in the desired field, by means of establishing a supportive work environment, providing concurrent education with that which is being delivered by the students’ schools, and listening to/monitoring a student’s receptiveness to your teaching method in order to maintain a dynamic and personalised teaching approach for each individual student.
