What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Tutoring appeals to me because it allows me to assist children in reaching their full potential and to inspire them on a personal and intellectual level. It inspires me to see how enthused a student becomes when they grasp a difficult concept. It's inspiring to see a child's determination and joy. I appreciate getting to know my students and learning about life through their eyes. Gaining insight into their perspectives and beliefs on life makes me very happy. I'm confident in saying that I've learned just as much from my students as they've learned from me.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My greatest strengths as a tutor are my communication skills and understanding of the emotional world of children–especially at the early level. I don't have a hard time gaining students' trust since I understand how they feel in various situations and can use the appropriate words in my lessons.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Tutors serve a distinct role from teachers and parents, putting them in a unique position to assist learners. Personal relationships are crucial to student achievement; the more attached a student feels to his or her tutor, the more trust and respect the tutor instils in the student, both of which are necessary ingredients for effective learning.

When I demonstrated to Chase how to play, he was pleased to try it out. Chase was so interested in the word puzzle that he played several rounds and did an excellent job of locating more than 10 words per game without assistance.
Chase has trouble “visualizing” words. He doesn’t make the transition from sounding words out to visualizing them. When he doubts a spelling of a word, I encourage Chase to write it down on paper and edit it how he thinks fit.

When sounding out words, Chase has trouble distinguishing between long and short vowels, for example. When Chase writes, "boat" becomes "booat."

Chase should read at a more relaxed pace. He sped through his reading, especially when he couldn't pronounce a word, and he skipped lines. Chase must read each word carefully and slowly.
