I most enjoy building relationships with my students. I pay close attention and strive to learn about their interests, personality, self-concept, and challenges. I want my students to look forward to our sessions and to feel supported by me.

I think the most important thing a tutor can do is help a student find and maintain their motivation and enthusiasm for learning. It is absolutely essential that a tutor review concepts, cover material, and ensure that a student is making progress, but is equally important for a tutor to make the learning experience positive for the student and help them find that intrinsic motivation to continue learning and work toward their goals.
