What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Seeing students improve in their results and become more confident in their mathematical ability. I love to work with students overtime to see their change in attitude towards mathematics.

patience (working with frustrated or struggling students), compassion, flexibility (working with students with different goals and learning abilities) (also flexibility with tutoring hours), good communication skills (able to communicate a complex algorithm in a simple way) - I am self-disciplined (reliable, punctual)

Create a safe learning environment where students are comfortable to ask questions when they don't understand Find a good balance of work that challenges the student but also makes them more comfortable with the subject area they might be struggling in - communication is key as a tutor in order to reach out and connect with the students your teaching - be a role model for the student, and lead the student to gain confidence and enjoyment for the subject/s
