What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The reward of being able to see the change that the student has made in their grades, whether it be one percent or ten. In my experience as a student, a guiding hand could never be a hinder to my grades so I believe I could do the same for a child in need. Knowing that I was the one that helped them, with the help of their amazing talent and ability to study, is a great feeling.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My ability to cater for a students individual concerns and needs. I know that ALL students have different learning styles and it's so important to cater for their specific learning style.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
To believe in the students ability to take what they've learnt in the session out into practice and to take part in individual study to further improve their skills as a student, particularly going into more serious years of high school.

he needs to focus more during the lesson, he often gets distracted and will talk about other things going on. I've tried to fix this but this doesn't seem to help.
his retention of content taught is getting a lot better and he is keen to learn and talk through his thinking process.

completion of homework, I do however understand that he is very busy for how old he is with extracurriculars and school in general, but I do believe this is the long term will help his retention rate increase.
