What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Enabling a child to be able to work out another similar question without needing to ask me for help - because he/she now understands the approach that needs to be taken in order to arrive at a solution for the question.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
An ability to identify where the child does not approach/view the question in the most simplest/direct way, and communicating this directly and simply, such that he/she is able to learn how to do it by themselves the next time.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
1. To identify where the child needs help - be it in the process of solving a question, or in fact in the way they think of what the question is asking.
2. To be able to communicate point 1 above, such that the child is able to understand.
3. Holistically take into account that each child is different, sometimes it is not a matter of merely studying how to solve the question, but rather interpreting the question in their minds, such that they feel empowered to solve it.
