What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the tutoring job the most when the students understand the concepts that they've never heard before after me trying to explain to them for the first. It is such a rewarding experience because at that moment I know that the person is satisfied with their learning and it gives me a feeling of pleasure.
Another thing is to meet new people. Sometimes students do not always have to be students, they can become friends too! During 3 years of experience, a lot of my students have become friends of mine, which we enjoy each other's company a lot.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My greatest strength as a tutor is that I deeply understand what the students struggle when learning concepts. This is partly because as a new student, I too was struggling with learning with new concepts and I therefore had to re-teach myself to aid with my understanding. I have the ability to explain the same concepts in various different ways to cater for different levels of understanding. I have a deep understanding of sciences, on how natural phenomena work and how different formula were arised through my years of education. Therefore, I truly believe I am a good candidate for this job!
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important factor of being a good tutor is not to simply facts that they have known, but to know how to express and explains that are so familiar to a tutor to a student who has never heard of it before. This is because a tutor/teacher is very different to a lecturer. A lot of teachers simply re-state the facts leaving a lot of students thinking that they are "dump", and therefore a lot of students having to come to tutors services. Through my experience, I am confident to be able to help students to understand concepts in the most understandable ways.
