My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Being a young girl, I think I still easily connect to teenagers and would therefore be able to engage with them easily. I also come from a family of 5 children, which makes me both responsible and patient, both vital characteristics a teacher should have to make sure the student enjoys what he/she learns and is keen to keep going. Having graduated high school recently, my study tactics are fresh in my head and I know what sort of academic problems students in school suffer from and can therefore ensure I can help them through it.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe a tutor should be a mentor, someone the student can relate to and feel comfortable expressing their problems to, but should also be assertive and draw the line between being professional and being a friend. I think a tutor should do her best to teach the student to the best of his/her abilities, even if that means going slightly over time. Parents pay tutors to make sure their child gets extra help, and that's exactly what our main goal should be.
